When Own The Room taught a seminar at Time Inc., Mary was one of its most enthusiastic participants—so enthusiastic, that by the end of the training, she had resolved to become a public speaking coach herself.
Before becoming a coach, Mary was involved in the behind-the-scenes magic of producing magazines at Time Inc. She has managed production of well-known annual publications such as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Time’s Person of the Year, and the Fortune 500 issue of Fortune, and has facilitated the handling of advertising deals with companies ranging from Rolex and Cartier to Procter & Gamble, Toyota, and HBO. She loves brokering deals; at Time Inc, she worked with a wide range of professionals daily, from journalists to senior business executives, helping them craft solutions that left all parties happy.
Mary is an avid snowboarder, having hit the slopes across North America and Europe, and is currently training for a marathon.
