Lisa embodies empathic leadership. That’s because she used to experience the same public speaking jitters that many of our clients feel before a training. Now, whether she’s scheduling a training or organizing logistics for a public event, Lisa drives forward excited for the opportunity to help others build confidence and improve their skills.

That same drive won her a job with HBO right after graduating from Tulane University. In her ten-year career with the network, she managed print production and marketing...and ran into the occasional celebrity. Lisa also spent several years planning private events and running a day camp program teaching teenagers how to become counselors. The same empathetic leadership that brought her to these roles gained her a seat on the Executive Board of a non-profit Jewish organization in her home state of New Jersey, where she’s volunteered her time for nearly nine years.

A lover of travel, Lisa spent six months in Australia during college as well as a summer in Israel, where she lived on a communal settlement, or kibbutz, for a week. When she’s not traveling the country organizing Own The Room public events, Lisa can be found spending time with her husband and three kids at home.
