Doug has long served as an adviser to civic leaders, senior executives, and entrepreneurs seeking a trusted advocate that listens, instigates brilliance, and helps them realize their maximum impact. At Own The Room, he supports the sales and product development teams, and helps professionals overcome barriers and transform their speaking style to create a powerful message.
Doug is the author of a forthcoming book with NavPress and enjoys writing and helping others with their own book projects. He is a pastor and the founder and curator of Thinkers and Makers, a lecture series with well-known authors, theologians, and philosophers. He is passionate about leadership development, working with emerging leaders to cultivate their potential, and has served on the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project. Doug earned his B.A. from Grove City College, and his M.A. in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Doug lives in New Hampshire with his wife and their four boys. He loves cooking, reading, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and Legos, all of which his kids love as well, which is very convenient.
