Account Manager/Director
EMEA - Full Time, Fully Remote Position
The ideal candidate is based in Germany (Munich/Frankfurt/Berlin) or the UK (London)
If you are a seasoned seller with demonstrated experience both growing existing accounts and developing new business; working collaboratively in a global company and a cross-cultural selling environment; and are looking for your next sales role with a book of world class clients and a team of fantastic colleagues, read on. This role provides the opportunity for you to lead and grow a regional sales pod in the EMEA region, reporting to the Global Head of Sales.
You are a self-starter, used to managing and juggling multiple projects and tasks, with strong experience using Salesforce and Microsoft applications.
The annual base salary range for this position is €46,000 - €91,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Create and manage account plans to acquire, retain, and develop existing clients in the EMEA region to achieve $1M+ in revenue each year
Create a business pipeline and manage the entire Sales cycle for assigned leads, with a goal of ~15% of your total revenue coming from new clients
Meet regularly (virtually or in person) with top clients to maintain ongoing relationships and understand changing client needs
Self-prospect to generate and qualify new business in assigned verticals
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools
Serve as the day to day dotted line manager for the Sales Pod’s 2-3 member sales and client support team
Keep up to date with trends in the Learning and Development space in order to maintain a high level of thought leadership and consultative selling with our clients
Required Experience
Minimum five years of experience in a quota carrying consultative sales role with evidence of being able to meet and exceed individual sales targets
Strong experience in Salesforce and Microsoft applications e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Experience
Experience in an enterprise sales role selling to L&D of large multinational corporations
Experience working with our biggest clients including Siemens, Google, Meta, and Citi
Experience managing an annual quota of at least $1M
Experience managing a team of 2-3 support staff
Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, human resources, or communications
